One of the speakers was Elon Musk, and during the question-and-answer session, he was asked a question that had everyone laughing: Could he, the richest man in the world, accept that his daughter marries a poor or modest man?

Elon Musk began by emphasizing that wealth is not merely about having a fat bank account; instead, it is primarily the ability to create wealth. He provided an example, highlighting that someone who wins the lottery or gambles, even if they amass 100 million dollars, is not truly rich; rather, they are a poor person with a lot of money. Musk pointed out that this is why a significant percentage of lottery millionaires become poor again within five years.

He further explained that there are rich individuals who currently have no money, citing most entrepreneurs as an example. These individuals are on the path to wealth because they are developing their financial intelligence, which, according to Musk, is true wealth.

Elon Musk then delved into the differences between the rich and the poor. In simple terms, he stated that the rich are willing to endure challenges and hardships to become wealthy, while the poor might resort to drastic measures to achieve wealth.

He offered a distinction: a young person who dedicates themselves to training, learning new things, and continuous self-improvement is a rich person. Conversely, a young person who blames the state, views the rich as thieves, and engages in constant criticism is, in Musk's view, a poor person.

Musk explained that the rich believe they need information and training to succeed, whereas the poor often believe they are entitled to money without putting in the effort.

Elon Musk concluded his perspective on his daughter's future partner by clarifying that when he says his daughter will not marry a poor man, he is not solely referring to financial wealth but rather the individual's ability to create wealth.

He ventured into a somewhat controversial statement, expressing that many criminals are poor people who, when confronted with money, lose control and resort to illegal activities. He suggested that for these individuals, it is a blessing, as they don't know how to earn money legitimately.

To illustrate the power of mindset, Musk shared a story about a bank guard who found a bag full of money and returned it to the bank manager. Despite being criticized, this man, in Musk's eyes, was a rich individual without money. Eventually, the bank recognized his value, offering him a job, and over the years, he climbed the ranks to manage the regional operations, overseeing hundreds of employees with an annual bonus exceeding what he could have stolen.

In essence, Musk emphasized that wealth is fundamentally a state of mind.
