Miss Ghana Wins Miss Africa Bremen 2013

Miss Vanessa Ama Fokuo, who represented the great nation of Ghana, won the 2013 Miss Africa Bremen. The show which took place on Saturday, June 8th, in Bremen, Germany was packed to the rim. Friends, families and supporters came from near and far to witness this great occasion.

Ivie Aliu, who represented Nigeria, was the first runner up (second position) while Awa Corrah, who represented The Gambia was second runner up (third position). Miss Yohanna Tesfamariam, Miss Eritrea, won the Topafric online voting competition and took home a prestigious award from Topafric.


All Ten contestants did a fabulous job of performing and entertaining the sold out crowd. They are all winners in the eyes of the public. The evening saw the ladies performing traditional dances from their respective countries, swim wear displays, and elegant display of dresses.


The atmosphere in the auditorium was super charged with all the lovely looking ladies and gents in the audience. Amongst the live stage performances were Niki Tall a.k.a Oyibo Boy, JC Collins, The Deutschland Super talent 2012 Finalist Christian Bakotessa and many more. The after show party event was held at Level 2 club in Bremen.


The 2013 Miss Africa Bremen, Miss Vanessa Ama Fokuo, could not hide her joy. She thanked all her friends, family and supporters for this great honor. She said “thanks a million to everybody who supported me, you guys are amazing…. You made my day and I hope I made you proud! It is an honor to represent Africa as Miss Africa Bremen 2013… much love!!!

A well deserved pat on the back goes out to Brembox, the organizers of the event. They did their best in coordinating and organizing this elegant event. We wish them all the best and hope to see more from them. Two thumbs up guys!!!
