Green Eagles of Nigeria are African Champions

The Nigeria national football team the "Super Green Eagles are for the third time today, Sunday 10th February 2013 African Champions. Nigeria beat Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

The best local pundits never believed, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, the local coach of the Super Eagles could bring them such a glory. With this achievement, he has undoubtedly attained the legendary status on the African continent. He is the first Nigerian to captain and also coach the national team in winning the African Cups of Nation.

Burkina Faso made history for coming second for the first time.
