Our next destination is Akrowa Basic School in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, where we are launching an inspiring initiative to give children the learning environment they deserve. A committed group of citizens has come together to start the “Schools Under Trees” project. This effort is dedicated to improving schools in underserved communities and ensuring that no child learns under a tree again.
Our Mission
- Eliminate Schools Under Trees by providing safe, well-equipped classrooms.
- Raise Awareness on Maintenance so schools remain in good condition for generations.
- Mobilize 1,000 Supporters each contributing €100 annually to sustain the project.
The First Step – Akrowa Pilot Project
Starting September 2025, we will:
- Renovate the Kindergarten.
- Upgrade the Primary School.
- Improve the Junior High School facilities.
This project is not just about building. It is about creating a culture of care, where proper maintenance becomes part of the school’s everyday life.
