Recognition, Empowerment and Justice.
At the PAD (People of African Descent) WEEK Germany everything revolves around People of African Descent in Germany for three days!
On the first day Black, African and Afrodiasporic organizations raise awareness for the situation of approximately one million People of African Descent in Germany in the Bundestag for the first time. On the second day, the PAD communities will exchange information with divers minorities affected by racism. On the last day the PAD WEEK closes with an empowerment program by, with and for People of African Descent.
More than 30 PAD organizations from all over Germany have joined forces!
In the run-up to the PAD WEEK Germany, the TOWN HALL Meetings in Hamburg (02.11.), Cologne (03.11.), Leipzig (09.11.) and Munich (16.11.) gather information about the needs of the communities.
